Looking for something new to record or stream? Here’s what we’re recommending you watch this week:
Sunday, March 1st:
- Once Upon a Time (ABC): Spoiler Alert: Literally everyone is related to everyone else in some way or another. It’s what keeps the show going. Well, that and the deep Disney bench.
- Last Man on Earth (FOX): As long as one of these men is MacGruber, we’re sold. Actually, from what we hear, this is one to watch!
- Secrets and Lies (ABC): Oh how the Ryan Phillippe has fallen.
Monday, March 2nd:
- The Following (FOX): Kevin Bacon’s series about a cult of people who watch “Footloose” once a week is back! Or something like that. Let’s Dance!
- RuPaul’s Drag Race (LOGO): There’s no more serious reality show on TV than this. We love RuPaul and hope she finds her next disciple!
Tuesday, March 3rd:
- Hell’s Kitchen (FOX): Gordon Ramsay professionally yells at people while other people watch.
Wednesday, March 4th:
- Broadchurch (BBCA): Recently renewed for a third season, this detective series proves that the Brits know more about heart-stopping TV than some American companies do.
- CSI: Cyber (CBS): When the real world proves too complicated, you have to call on Patricia Arquette and her sense of right and wrong!
Thursday, March 5th:
- American Crime (ABC): This new series deals with all of the uniquely American crimes…like everything.
- Dig (USA): What if everything that you knew about everything was wrong and could be proved by newly unearthed artifacts? You too could have a series on USA!
Friday, March 6th:
- VICE (HBO): In-depth reporting that, at the end of the day, 9/10ths of the world won’t believe. But hey, it’s still amazing journalism!
- Say Yes to the Dress (TLC): This season opens with all of the brides saying “No” to the dress…just kidding; it’s a full on acceptance-fest.
Saturday, March 7th:
- Premiere Boxing Championship (NBC): For the first time in forever, two amateur boxers will beat each other down on NBC! We’re ready for hours of build-up leading to an uninteresting fight, are you?
Streaming:
- Aziz Ansari – Live at Madison Square Garden (Netflix, March 6th): Fresh off his stint on “Parks and Recreation”, Aziz debuts a new stand-up special that’s sure to make us laugh, think and then think about why we’re laughing.
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix, March 6th): This new sitcom from Tina Fey, stars Ellie Kemper from “The Office”. Watch it out of comedic respect.
