Celebrity Beefs! Freddie vs. Keifer

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland’s beef with each other from the set of “24” is making headlines this week, with Freddie claiming that Kiefer’s “the most unprofessional dude in the world.” These scathing remarks from the former “Scooby Doo” star are just the latest in a long line of on-set celebrity beefs that have made headlines over the years.

Some of our other favorite Celebrity Beefs include:

  • Julia Roberts vs. Nick Nolte: The two teamed up for the 1994 Rom Com “I Love Trouble”, but got into more than their fair share of trouble on-set. These two reportedly fought so much they ended up having to film some scenes separately. Years later, Julia called Nick a “disgusting human being” in an interview, to which he responded that she was “not a nice person, everyone knows that.”
  • Debra Winger vs. Shirley MacLaine: In “Terms of Endearment”, the two argued like cats and dogs, but apparently that didn’t stop once the cameras stopped rolling. With accusations of nasty words and middle fingers exchanged between takes, these two clashed all the way through awards season, when MacLaine won the Oscar® and failed to thank her co-star.*
  • Shannen Doherty vs. Alyssa Milano: It’s no secret that many feel Shannen Doherty has a bit of a reputation when it comes to getting along with co-stars (paging Jenny Garth…). The 90210 alum didn’t do herself any favors on the set of her second big series, “Charmed”. After clashing with Alyssa Milano, Doherty left the show and was replaced by Rose McGowan as Cousin Paige.
  • Bill Murray vs. Lucy Liu: It’s a well-documented fact that everyone loves Bill Murray…except Lucy Liu. During the filming of “Charlie’s Angels”, Bill questioned her acting ability, reportedly saying, “I get why you’re here and you’ve got talent, but what in the hell are you doing here? You can’t act!” This didn’t sit well with the “Ally McBeal” star, and Bill didn’t return for “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle”.
