Swimming finals dominated the most-watched moments during day 3 of the London Olympic Games, followed by men’s gymnastics. John Orozco’s pommel horse woes were perhaps the lowest moment for the USA Men’s Gymnastics Team and landed Orozco in the day’s TiVo Top Moments. Another disappointment for Team USA was Ryan Lochte’s fourth-place finish in the 200m freestyle, missing the podium by a tenth of a second. However, not all TiVo Top Moments from day 3 were low points for Team USA: Missy Franklin’s performance in the women’s 100m backstroke – less than 20 minutes after qualifying for the 200m final – won the top spot. 17-year-old Franklin, who attends high school in Aurora, CO, not only won gold, but brought hope to a healing community as they burst into cheers as she pulled away during the final stretch.
