Summertime Deals on TV Shows…and a Movie

It’s summertime & there’s lots of new TV shows to enjoy!  Yes, TV shows and a movie…

Amazon Video On Demand on TiVo is delivering some TV shows I’d recommend checking out (as you may have missed the pilot or season premiere  – and if you did you may be able to get show for FREE after it’s aired on TV).

Covert Affairs, Season 1 on USA: Get a free first episode starting on 7/14.  From the producer of the Bourne Trilogy this show is about a new woman in the CIA who gets all the jobs nobody else wants…And remember, the first episode is free!

Up in the Air is the Deal of the Day today, 7/15. Rent the movie for only 99 cents.  What a deal!  Oscar winner George Clooney stars as Ryan Bingham, a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.

Fact or Faked, Season 1 on SyFy. Fact or Faked Premieres tonight, and you can get the first episode for FREE starting on 7/16. Follow a former FBI agent and his team as they investigate circumstances surrounding various paranormal-themed videos posted online. They’ll talk to witnesses and visit the location of the occurrence in an effort to determine whether or not what’s been shown on video is the real deal or a hoax.
